The Tapestry

The Tapestry (Everlush factory) is a nature-centric factory that redefines industrial space as an ecological and people-centric workspace. Weaving spaces, Breathing life – The design aims to elevate wellness of workers with nature and encourage human connections. The Khmer textile-inspired brickwork façade is breathable, fusing the greenery and social spaces with delights.

The façade employs varying brick porosity to respond to diverse spatial needs, balancing light, privacy, and ventilation. Designed as a breathable skin for the tropical climate, it promotes continuous airflow while mitigating heat gain and glare. This calibrated permeability transforms the envelope into a dynamic environmental filter, enhancing thermal comfort and reducing reliance on mechanical cooling.
A generous stepped assembly anchors the building as a communal heart, encouraging informal gathering and exchange. Framed by greenery and porous brick screens, the space fosters interaction within a comfortable microclimate.
Intimate pockets of greenery provide moments of pause within the active workplace, embracing the outdoors as an integral part of daily experience. These quiet retreats blur the boundary between interior and exterior, enriching worklife through constant engagement with nature. Together, they create a restorative environment where users can recharge, reflect, and reconnect amidst a living green setting.
Workspaces are oriented to maximise visual connection to greenery and natural light. These framed views create a calming atmosphere that supports productivity and well-being.
The design is driven by a modular framework that supports flexibility, adaptability, and future growth. Vertical connections and integrated landscapes create a cohesive and breathable environment.
The building is organised as a continuous social spine, where the ground level integrates communal programmes with landscape to anchor interaction and activity. This layered arrangement extends vertically into upper levels, where elevated communal spaces foster connections across different work zones. Sky bridges and terraces stitch the building together, creating seamless visual and physical links that enhance collaboration and spatial continuity.
A modular grid defines the architectural order, enabling flexibility and scalability across the development. Interwoven with greenery and social spaces, the section reveals a layered ecosystem of work, rest, and interaction.
